Winter Jackets, Coats & Padded/Puffy Outerwear
Thank you for trusting The Laundry Club with your winter garments. We understand that
padded, down-filled, and puffy jackets require special care, and we’re committed to
cleaning them using professional techniques and industry-recommended methods.

Our team takes every precaution to ensure your outerwear is handled with care.
However, due to the nature of certain fabrics, garment construction, and prior wear or
maintenance, some changes may occasionally occur:
Colour variation: Fading may occur, especially on fabrics previously exposed to sunlight, moisture, or abrasion.
Fabric reaction: Certain coatings, membranes, or water-repellent finishes may soften or show mild texture changes after cleaning.
Shrinkage: More likely in heavy wool coats or garments with mixed-fabric linings and decorative trimmings.
Trims, logos, and zippers: These may become damaged, loosened, or deformed. Many padded jackets include printed, rubberised, or glued components; adhesives can weaken naturally over time and may react to moisture or heat during cleaning.
Down-filled or padded insulation: Even when cleaned correctly, flattening or uneven puffiness may occur. A certain odour from goose feathers may also be noticeable. This is common and temporary.
Stitching or seam stress: Stitched or heat-pressed seams or compartments holding down or filling may loosen or shifted.
Stain Treatment: Stain-removal service is available at $21.80 per item. While we use professional spotting techniques, complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed due to factors such as fabric type, waterproof coating, age or setting of the stain, previous cleaning attempts, or garment construction.
Please note that colour fading or minor fabric changes may occur during the stain- treatment process, particularly on delicate or coated materials.
